In short. Wagmile is an iPhone app for dog owners, made by Nova Page Publishing Ltd. What you put into it stays on your phone. We do not have a copy and we cannot see it.
What stays on your phone. Everything you enter: your dogs, check-ins, walks and their routes, weights, vaccines and other health records, photos, and the places you save. It is stored only on your iPhone, and it is excluded from device backup, so it is not copied to iCloud or to a computer.
No account. There is no sign-up and no sign-in. The app does not ask for your name or your email address.
No analytics, no ads. The app has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
The Nearby tab. To find places for dogs, the Nearby tab sends the area of the map you are looking at to Apple Maps. That request goes to Apple, under Apple’s privacy policy. It does not come to us.
Other apps from us. Before it shows a card for another of our apps, Wagmile asks Apple’s public App Store lookup whether that app is available in your region. The request goes to Apple and contains the other app’s ID and your App Store region, and nothing you entered.
Notifications. Reminders are optional. If you turn them on, they are scheduled on your phone and delivered by your phone. Nothing is sent to us to make them work.
Export and delete. In the app, Settings > Export all data gives you a file with everything you entered. Settings > Delete all data erases all of it from the phone. Deleting the app erases it too. Because we hold no copy, we cannot restore it for you.
Health entries. Weights, vaccines and other health entries are your own notes about your dog. Wagmile does not give veterinary advice. For anything about your dog’s health, ask your veterinarian.
Changes. If the app changes in a way that affects any of this, we will update this page and its date.
Business listings. A pet business that asks for a free listing gives us its details. That is covered by a separate privacy page.
